A special free evening with Robert Falzon exploring fathering from the front line will be held at the College on Monday 1 March 2021, 7.00pm – 8.30pm.
About the event: In an age where there is a training manual to do almost everything, there is still no manual, map or compass to do one of the most important tasks on earth – Fathering!
Robert unpacks practical advice and shares stories that are powerfully important, impacting, informative and instructional for fathering in today’s world.
He is a husband, father, businessman, published author and co-founder of menALIVE - a National Catholic Ministry to men. Since the founding of menALIVE in 2003, this work has delivered 450 events across 26 dioceses and numerous schools in Australia and NZ, reaching more than 30,000 men.
Copies of his new book, Raising Fathers, will be available to purchase.
The night is open to dads, mums and families (children aged over 13). Space is limited and online registration is required in order for us to meet COVID guidelines. Tea and coffee will be available at the end of the evening.
Click here to listen to an interview with Robert Falzon.
Online registration for this free event can be completed by Wednesday 24 February 2021 using this link.
This evening is offered to parents who are new to the College and would like to know more about the Marist tradition that they and their families have now joined.
There will be opportunities to learn about the founding of the Marist Brothers and our College, the pillars of Marist Spirituality, our Core Values, and ways in which you can be involved further in our shared mission to work together in creating fine young men.
Numbers are limited due to COVID restrictions.
If you are unable to make this event on Tuesday 4 March, the evening is being repeated on Thursday 5 August 2021.
Due to COVID restrictions, online registrations are required by Monday, 1 March 2021, by following this link.

Anyone interested in trialling for the various regional sports needs to log onto the School Sport ACT website and register for the sport that your child wishes to trial. It is the responsibility of parents to monitor the website for any upcoming sporting events, if your child is interested in competing in the regional competitions.
Please also note: if your child is successful in being selected for an ACT team to participate in a national or regional tournament, you need to write a formal letter to the Deputy Headmaster or Head of Junior School to seek permission for absence from school during this period. Once the College has received such a request, it can then be formally approved for your son’s participation in this activity with School Sport ACT. Secondly, we will also be able to acknowledge his achievement in the College newsletter.
