The Junior School singing competition is back and is scheduled for Friday 9 September, after a COVID forced hiatus. The House Captains have chosen the theme for this year – 1980s classics.
Each House has chosen their songs and had their first practice. The House Captains did a fantastic job, as did the teachers:
During Junior School PE classes in Weeks 6-10 of this term, students will undertake the following activities:
Classes will then cover either ‘Hit, Strike, Catch’ or Sof Crosse next term in Weeks 1-5 of Term Four.
Please ensure boys have their names on all water bottles, school hats and tracksuit tops.
Will your son be in Years 9 - 12 next year and studying Italian or Hospitality and Food Technology?
The College is pleased to announce an incredible opportunity for these students to travel abroad, strengthen their language skills, discover one of the greatest ancient civilisations, and learn to cook (and eat!) some amazing cuisine.
The Language and Food Tour of Italy will run through the September - October school holidays in 2023.
Come and find out more at a preliminary information session tomorrow, Thursday 25 August, at 6.00pm. Please register for the session by clicking the link below or contact Dave Moore for more information.
Kenny Chan is a highly experienced Melbourne artist visiting the ACT. He will run a series of tailored workshops with our students over two days.
He is a registered teacher with the Victorian Institute of Education, and has been running classes in the Japanese manga comic form for many years. He has previously worked as a freelance artist and animator in comics, video games and movies.
These workshops provide an invaluable opportunity for our students to enhance drawing and creative thinking skills, and further develop an understanding of this popular and amazing Japanese Art form.
