What's On - 1 November 2023

 It is the tradition of the Church that we pray for the repose of souls during the month of November. At each of our Friday morning Masses in the month, we will be praying for the repose of souls of all connected to our Marist faith community.

As the end of year approaches, Senior School students will need to return all their Library books and textbooks by the following dates:

Any textbooks or library books that are outstanding after this date will need to be replaced, and your school account will be invoiced for the cost.

Marist College Canberra and the Marist College Canberra Old Boys Association are excited to invite the graduating Class of 2022 to our first ever one year school reunion, which will take place this Friday 10 November at the College.

The Uniform Shop is pleased to announce that we will have three new House polos available for the three new Houses being added to Marist College Canberra.

The new House polos are due to arrive at the Uniform Shop in January 2024.

We welcome all students who require these polos to visit the Uniform Shop to fit for size and place their new polo on backorder for collection in January 2024. If you are a current student in Year 7, 8, 9 or 10 and have questions regarding your replacement polo, please speak with your House Dean.

Saturday Opening Times

A reminder that the Uniform Shop is open every second Saturday on top of the regular weekday opening hours which can be found here. 30-minute fitting appointments are available on Saturdays. Please find below the Saturday opening hours for the remainder of 2023:

A reminder that our Art and Design Exhibition - Fusion, is open to all families from 3.30pm - 5.00pm every afternoon this week. Come and celebrate the hard work of our talented Art and Design students.

Rowing season commences this Saturday, followed by Blessing of the Boats.

This Saturday 4 November, we look forward to attending the BMRC/Daramalan Regatta to be held at Weston Park. We welcome all members of the school community to come along and show your support!

Following the Regatta, the annual Blessing of the Boats ceremony, award presentations and a BBQ will be held at the Marist Rowing Sheds at Yarralumla.

Cian Hickey (Year 11), First XI, demolished Daramalan taking wickets in his first, third, fourth, fifth and sixth overs on his way to 5-10 from 7 overs. William Holl (Year 5), Stage 1 Hurricanes took 5/8 and Thomas Smith (Year 9), Stage 3 Turf took 4/5 off 5 overs against ANU.

Three of our Marist boys, Alexander Gunn (Year 11), Sam Smith (Year 11), Lucas Louis (Year 10) have been selected to represent the ACT in the U17 Nationals to be held in Ballarat in early January 2024.
