Update
A successful Parent Intervention Information Evening was held on Monday 23 May. It was lovely to put a parental face to the boys that we work with. The conversations were positive and collaborative, and we are so grateful for the partnership we have with families in improving the learning outcomes of our students.
If you missed out or if you are interested, PowerPoint presentations outlining each of the intervention programs and our processes are available. Please email ELS enquiries if you would like a copy.
On Tuesday 24 May, we also started our Reading Café before school. All Junior School boys are welcome to attend – whether they are currently in a Reading Intervention group or not. It is not just for boys that we see in ELS.
The expectation is that the boys will read quietly unless reading to an adult. We are sure our numbers will grow with the cold weather increasing. The Café runs from Tuesday – Friday, 8.00am to 8.30am. Boys are also free to arrive at any time during that period. All are welcome.
