Futsal

Congratulations to Andy Rakic (Year 10), AJ Rakic (Year 10), and Michael Pratezina (Year 11) who represented the ACT in the National Futsal Championships on the Gold Coast over the break. The team remained undefeated throughout the competition and emerged as the champions after a 5-2 victory against NSW Metro in the Grand Final. Andy Rakic also received the joint title of U15 Player of the tournament. Well done boys and congratulations to all Marist students who represented the ACT in the tournament.

Athletics

Congratulations to Jacob (Year 12) and Kieran (Year 9) Shepherd who competed at the Australian All Schools Athletics Championships held in Perth in December 2023:

Jacob Shepherd: 4th place in 3000m and 7th place in 1500m with a personal best.
Kieran Shepherd: 1st place in 1500m, 2nd place in 800m with a personal best.
