Caleb Robinson (Year 8) attended the BRAINways summer camp at the Australian Catholic University in January 2022, participating in the Social Science stream.
“The course consisted of four subjects: an introduction to entrepreneurship, the history (and Maths) of Board Games, the psychology of collective fear, and building fantasy worlds.
On the final day, we were able to deepen our understanding of the topic that we were most interested in. I chose Entrepreneurship, creating a solution to reduce space junk/pollution. I hope to work in the area of Commerce, International Relations or Law in the future and found this topic valuable and exciting.
I recommend the program to anyone wishing to further develop their knowledge in Social Science, Maths or Science. It was also an incredible opportunity to meet other students from across Canberra, and discuss common interests and make new friendships.
I would like to thank you Mr Milligan and Marist College Canberra for the amazing opportunity."
