Congratulations to Matthew Millikin on becoming one of ten recipients of an Early Career Teaching Scholarship as part of the Commonwealth Bank Teaching Awards presented at Parliament House yesterday.
Applications for the 2023 Awards were received from hundreds of wonderful educators from around Australia. After an extensive assessment process, Matthew and nine other outstanding early career teachers, were selected for this very prestigious award.
The Award includes $5,000 for individual professional development and participation in a 12-month program valued at $5,000, including a 3-day study tour. In addition, there will be opportunities for Matthew to engage with mentors and education experts; and to develop networks, skills, and capabilities through a series of experiences that form part of the Award year.
