Co-curricular Sport
Marist schools have a long tradition of encouraging boys to represent their College. We continue this tradition and extend the opportunity for boys to represent Marist College in a weekend sporting team.
Amongst the sports offered are:
- Australian Rules Football
- Basketball
- Cricket
- Hockey
- Rugby Union
- Snow Sports - Skiing/Snowboarding
- Soccer
There are sign-on days for these sports and an associated registration fees. Each sport has its own uniform. Parents are encouraged to assist with the coaching and managing of these teams and may be called upon to assist with transport, scoring, etc. Marist has a strong tradition of parental involvement in sport. Parental involvement is essential in any club to ensure its viability.
